Live Like a Fashionista

As a woman of style like you; your home is a huge part in being a fashionista. If you are like me, your apartment is extremely small. Take good care of your apartment, paint when it needs to be done, clean up after yourself, all apartments are not the same. Set up a simple routine that you follow everyday; if you have to vacuum everyday to keep your carpets looking clean then that is what you need to do, dust, make sure to clear away the clutter that builds up on a day to day basis. Pick up your child's toys and put them away. Treat your home as if it were a living model home; make your bed everyday, clean your bathroom everyday, a simple wipe down and wipe down your mirror and organize your toiletries, hang your towels as if you were in a plush hotel suite. Do the dishes, and to top it off, cook for you and your family.

Don't know how to cook? There are about a thousands books on cooking, pick one that your interested in and follow it. Beginners should start simple with easy meals. Search out items for your home that really make it a home. Your home should be a reflection of you and your style. Paint and arrange furniture to your liking. Decorate on your own, it's not that hard there are so many home stores like Homegoods and Pier 1 imports; these stores speak to you and you can find what you want simply and affordably. Apartments can be simple with a touch of your style yet can still be universal in its design to make people feel like they have walked into a home and not am annex for a certain store. Spread out when looking for any kind of home décor to keep from looking like an advertisement for the store you chose your favorite items to come from. Another tip is to not lose yourself to the design, make room for your essentials, like your books and DVD's on a shelf close to your entertainment center. Organization is a big part of staging your home. Make a habit of cleaning your home every day.

In a small apartment storage is limited. I solved that problem by placing shelving units on my walls to store things I use everyday, it's not a new concept but it may be something you haven't thought of to utilize the limited space you have in your home. From your living room to the kids room organization is key, utilizing the space is a necessity.

By following these simple guidelines and tips you will be able to coordinate the home you want to live in and the home your family can enjoy and grow in. Guests will come in and know that a fashionista lives here and that is your ultimate goal.

Recent Study Indicates Women's Fertility Declines At 27

Balancing a professional and personal life is a difficult task for any woman and a recent study that indicates fertility is decreasing at a younger age than previously thought is not making that task any easier.

Previous studies suggested that a woman's ability to conceive did not start to decline until her 30's, but a new study indicates that the decline actually begins at 27-years-old. The study even indicates that there could be up to a 50% decrease in fertility by the time a woman turns 30 years of age.

Many women, who previously didn't think they would even consider starting a family before the age of 30, have been rethinking their plans for the future.

"My mother didn't have me until she was 34, so I sort of imagined that's when I would start having children, but now I'm thinking that may be too late," said one 26-year-old woman.

The study was conducted by the Institute of Environmental Health Services in North Carolina and was published in the Journal of Human Reproduction. Though fertility declines are higher than previously thought the study says a woman can still conceive in her late 30's, it just may take more menstrual cycles for it to happen.

Most women are aware that fertility starts to decline with age, but most women may not be aware of when the decline starts to occur and how quickly it can affect plans to have children. Young women hear anecdotes about women having children at 40 and beyond, but the truth is those cases are the outliers.

A survey conducted by the American Infertility Association last year showed that from the over 12 thousand respondents only one was aware that fertility begins to decline before the age of 30. Almost half of the respondents thought the decline started at 40.

The survey indicates many women are overestimating the amount of time they have left on their biological clock.

The study from the EHS in North Carolina also studied male fertility. The study showed that male fertility begins to decline at 35 years of age and can be lessened by 40% by the age of 40.

Many things in life don't go as planned, and maybe any plans we set are futile, but the one thing we can control is our education. The more we know about our body and health, the better chances our plans will have to come to fruition.

I hope this article helps your plans do just that.

Sexual Wellness As a Path to Freedom

Smart Women and Their Relationship With Money

Recently, I had the opportunity to spend the day strategizing with a group of smart women entrepreneurs from different parts of the world. It was an energizing day focused on topics such as effective marketing, clear messaging to attract your ideal client, time management and money.

At one point, women were expressing the challenges they face in getting everything accomplished each day including running a business, managing a family, and hopefully time to squeeze in a little self-care.

I shared with the group that when I'm in the office, I ask myself three questions to help me stay focused and directed on making money in my business:

1. Where is the potential for new business?

2. Are my private clients and groups experiencing award-winning results?

3. Have I reached out to my referral sources this week?

Discovering new business opportunities, creating award-winning client results and focusing on my relationships with referral sources are the very best ways to build a successful company for the long-term.

I noticed one woman in the group had a rather strange look on her face and at the break, I went up to her and asked if everything was OK. Her response? "I've never heard a woman speak so freely about making money. It's liberating for me. I love this idea!"

As I travel around the country and meet women from different parts of the globe, this idea that money should not be discussed is universal. I had one woman tell me that she was raised with a belief that "Money is evil." Money is not evil. What you do with the money is what matters.

This opened the door to a freeing, thought-provoking, conversation about why women need to overcome their fear of making money or having money. If your business is not making the money you desire, could it be possible it's due to the relationship you have with money? If your business is barely "surviving" instead of "thriving" I invite you to think about creative ways you can embrace what a positive cash flow could do not only for you but the world.

To ensure that your Big Idea comes to fruition and achieves growth year after year, it's essential that you make money in your business. I'd like to share some ideas about why women and money go together and energize your thinking about why it's key to stay focused on making money:

1. Contributing to the well-being of yourself and your family - It's an empowering feeling to know that your business contributes to taking care of those you love and care about. It builds confidence, self-esteem and instills the idea in your family that you are an equal partner in every area.

2. Contributing to the economy - I'm thrilled to be able to have a small team of women support me in my business and I can help them achieve their goal of working from home. I'm adding value to the flexibility and freedom in their lives.

3. Giving back - I hear from so many women the reason they started their business is because they want to give back to the charities and organizations they feel so strongly about. This has been an emotional driver for me. My desire to give back has continued to grow over the last 3 years and my dream has finally come true. This year, Smart Women Smart Solutions® is now able to make a donation to several non-profits that support women and girls worldwide from coaching programs purchased by women entrepreneurs.

I'm going to invite you to start the process of creating a consistent, positive cash flow so you can use the money to take care of what's important to you. Stop saying, "When I have the money, I will..." and start saying, "Now that my business is experiencing a positive cash flow, I will..."

Anything is possible. Everything is waiting for you.

Plan B Dressing - The Quick Grab and Wear Plan

A networking associate posed a question to me last week. She said that when getting dressed, she often forgets what she has in her wardrobe that can be worn together. Although her clothes hang in colour groups, this system provides no reminder and she often defaults to her favourite combination. Did I have any ideas to help her?

I like to plan ahead what I am going to wear. Not everyone is like that and even this plan does not always work. Disaster can strike at any time - clothes get ruined, you missed that stain, something rips as you put it on or you get a last-minute invitation to go somewhere.

I gave her some suggestions and decided to share them with you. I call this the Quick Grab and Wear Dressing Plan for business women over 40.

Make It Easy to Find Clothes to Wear

If you have so many clothes hanging in your wardrobe or closet that they merge into one solid block, it is time to re-organise or discard. Has the season changed and you are still keeping on hand clothes that do not suit this time of the year? If so, move those clothes elsewhere. Space out the clothes that are left so you can see all of your clothes. Sort out the clothes on your shelves and in your drawers so that you do not have to rummage through twenty items to find the one you want. Hang jewellery in clear pocket hangers and put scarves on tie hangers to make it easy to choose the best accessory that suits your mood and personality.

Enough is Plenty

Apply the Buddhist principle of Enough. With your wardrobe that means that before you buy more clothes, look at the current clothes in your wardrobe differently. Change any out-dated ideas that only this can go with that. Be young again. Play Dress Ups. Try on everything with everything. Try wearing your camisoles and singlet tops as modern outer vests. Mix patterns and colours. You may be amazed at what works and how your dressing choices have suddenly expanded. Enough will be plenty.

Create a Looks Folder

Now it is time to remember your old and new combinations. For the writers, write down all your dressing and accessory combinations and good places to wear that combination eg This item goes with that item when I go to this event.

For those more visual, take pictures of yourself or your combinations against a plain neutral-coloured wall. Create an album of your looks on your mobile or iPhone. You can also cut and paste them into a Word document as small images. Then print the document in colour at any printing place for only a few dollars. Depending on who shares your computer or laptop, you can create a screensaver of your looks. This was suggested by the networker above as she started to see the possibilities. Lastly, get creative with your own ideas.

Stick your printed sheets on the wardrobe door or wall for easy reference. Remember to check your Looks Folder before you get dressed.

Bonus Tip

When you buy something new, wear it as soon as possible in at least two different ways to imprint it on your mind. Be like a little kid. They are so in love with their new clothes that they cannot wait to wear them again and again. That might happen to you, especially if someone you admire compliments you on your new clothes or accessory.

Stop complaining about your wardrobe! Use these modern dressing tips to get dressed simpler and faster.

How To Try On A Bra To Find the Correct Size

When trying on a bra which hooks should I use?

A common question from the ladies in the fitting room, some people have told them this others that, and from the point of view of buying lingerie you need to know the correct way to avoid wasting money on bras that you won't be able to wear in a month.

The answer can depend on your age or whether you are pregnant.

A teenager is still growing and their chest size and ribcage is likely to expand, in some cases at tremendous rates. This means that a young woman up until she has stopped growing should be fitted with bras on the tightest hooks. Then as she grows the hooks can be loosened. This is important so as not to restrict a growing body or apply unnecessary pressure which can cause long term marks or bruising.

By your state, I am referring to whether you are pregnant and expecting, this is the only time in a woman's life after adolescence that you should also try on a bra to the tightest hooks. This is to ensure that as your bump expands the pressure can be relieved by loosening the hooks.

The most common fitting, therefore, should always be done on the loosest of hooks. Most bras have three sets, although some larger cups may have four to give extra room for adjustment. When trying a bra you start with the loosest, then as you wash and wear your bra, elastic weakens. To secure the same fit from when the bra was new you will need to use tighter hooks, giving you an inch and a half to pull the bra in during aging.

So there you have it, simply to get the most life out of a bra purchase when you have the perfect fit on the loosest hooks and use the tighter hooks as the bra ages.

Of course there are always exceptions and anomalies, two exceptions mentioned here (pregnancy and teenage years), there are two other exceptional circumstances where you may be advised to fit to the middle or tightest hooks. Some ladies maybe between bra sizes, this means if it is too tight on the bra size below (causing excessive discomfort and marks) you may purchase the next size up wearing the bra on the middle hooks will give you an extra inch, meanwhile the tightest hooks will give you an extra half an inch from the size below. Where possible it is always advisable to go for the tightest band size comfortable, as this is where the support is provided, as your breasts weight are balanced in your core. After wearing a loose, old or larger sized bra for sometime the correct size will naturally feel firm at first, you are likely to adjust to this and always remember with washing and wearing the bra will loosen.

The only other situation where a woman may need to purchase on the tightest hooks is where you are petite size where availability is scarce, 26 backs for example. Unfortunately brands tend to go where the largest market rests, that being if you are lucky enough to be petite then you are likely to struggle to find high quality lingerie. This means that you may be forced to buy bras measured to the tightest hooks.

How to Use Red, Yellow and Blue to Boost Your Emotions, Your Business and Your Natural Beauty

Colour is all around us. It would be very boring if we lived only in a black and white world. Colour adds interest, excitement, relaxation and individuality to our lives.

It is a visual language that we all respond to. Not everyone has learnt to tap into the unspoken emotional power of colour. When you travel or look at images from other parts of the world, it is interesting to let go of your learned responses and notice how other cultures and environments interpret the meaning of the same colours.

Red, yellow and blue are the basis from which all the colours are created. They are called the primary colours. On a colour wheel which usually contains twelve colours, the primary colours are evenly spaced - four apart.

Every colour has both positive and negative emotions and perceptions attached to it.

Here is my short guide to help you use the western world's view of primary colours to boost your emotions, your business and your natural beauty.

Red - Never Passive

The colour of action, romance and anger - red is never passive.

Usually thought of as a look at me colour, it attracts extroverts as you cannot hide in a clear, strong red. Introverts and gentler people will tend towards elegant burgundy and maroon or the more grounded red earth.

If you woke up angry, I suggest you do not wear red or it is going to be a bull-fighting day. Red is the colour for women in their 60s. It goes beautifully with grey hair and reminds you that it is now time to do things for yourself.

As red is one of the primary colours, it definitely makes your business card and advertising material stand out. Finally, red is a favourite colour choice for sporting teams that want to ignite passion in their supporters.

The Very Under-rated Yellow

Sunshine, intellect, optimism and cowardice - yellow is a very emotional colour.

I have read that yellow is the colour that most women will avoid wearing. Fashion trends usually promote bright yellow which is a colour only a few women can wear successfully. Lemon highlights blond hair and a yellow tie makes the blue eyes of men look brighter. Butter yellow or golden amber look great on those with spring or autumn colouring.

Yellow is a great colour in the office for a business promoting enthusiasm, optimism or logical thinking. Your mind takes longer to recognise yellow. People look at business cards a little bit longer if they have more yellow in them than other colours. Lots of businesses combine yellow and blue to engage both sides of the brain - yellow for logical thinking and blue for communication.

Blue - a Favourite Colour of Men

Blue relates to the creative right-brain. In its positive aspects, light blue is the colour of communication and dark blue is the colour of trust. On its negative side, blue is associated with feelings of sadness and depression.

In nature blue can be cool and calming like a light blue sky and a tropical ocean or it can be cold and depressing like Antarctic ice with a foggy blue-grey sky.

Blue helps men communicate with each other and with women. Men find it easier and less stressful talking to or listening to a woman dressed in light blue. Fuchsia which is a combination of blue and pink attracts men as the message it subconsciously sends out is of a woman who is confident and easy to talk to.

Those with cool colouring in their hair, eyes and skin will generally have a preference for soft, pale or deep blue. Those with warm colouring will tend towards aqua, blue-green or blue-purple.

Finally, colour experts say that eating blue-purple foods like berries calms you down and helps you sleep well.

Go now and play with red, yellow and blue.Look, think and feel how you can add these colours to bring more of what you want into your life.

How to Choose the Best Human Hair Extensions

Are you on the hunt for your next batch of hair extensions? Whether you want to apply your extenders yourself or have them professionally applied, there are plenty of options on the market. Some hair extension aficionados swear by human hair extensions. For the ultimate in luxurious extensions, consider natural ones.

Characteristics

• Fine, virgin hair is chosen for extensions. This will give you the best quality extenders possible.

• The cuticles of this type of hair extension are all aligned in the same way. This ensures that the extenders won't tangle. Natural hair and hair extenders with perfectly aligned cuticles is by far the best looking, healthiest type of hair.

• Human hair extenders are processed without acids and with natural, food grade ingredients.

• Human hair extenders are prepared in small batches, by hand.

• Unlike other types of hair extensions, human hair extensions aren't heated in high-heat ovens. This means that natural extensions aren't dried out like other types of extensions.

Benefits

• Every extender is soft, just like moisturized, natural hair. This is due to the cuticle alignment.

• Human hair extenders are virtually tangle-free. Tangles are the number one way to shorten the life of your extensions.

• This type of hair extender lasts longer than most other kinds of extensions. Your extensions will be in place for months.

• Human hair extenders don't shed thanks to secure sewing.

• Each hair extender is shiny because of the cuticle direction.

Application

• Strand-by-strand application is done in small sections. Heated sticks that are adhesive and glue help to adhere the extension to the hair.

• To apply hair extenders with the weaving method, a track is created around the head, as close to the scalp as possible. The extenders are sewn onto the tracks.

• Bonding is one of the most common applications for extensions. Glue for bonding is applied to the end of the extender as well as to the root of your own hair.

• Clip-in extensions have the clip-in portion already sewn into the end of the extension. This is the easiest method to apply yourself, since you can easily clip the extender in and remove it simply.

• The newest application method is tape-on bonding. A thin, flat strip of polyurethane works as double-sided tape. You simply remove the back of the strip and apply the extension to your hair. This is one of the easiest application methods to do yourself. This is also a safe method of application.

If you are dreaming to have a hair that is strong and soft, healthy and versatile, Ludis hair extensions are the best solutions.

Good news! Ludis hair extensions are now available for the first time in North America. Through Ludis Charming Instinct, you will be able to grab high-quality and natural hair extensions that are made from 100% Remy Indian hair.

How to Choose a Pair of Shoes for Women

Imagine a woman preparing to go out on a fine Sunday morning. She spends a lot of time in front of the mirror, putting on makeup and choosing the best dress to match her lipstick. Suddenly, she realized that she does not have the right pair of shoes to match her current attire. This is without a doubt, a woman's worst nightmare. That is why a woman is usually very particular about her footwear.

In general, 9 out of 10 men cannot understand why a woman needs so many pairs of shoes. So naturally, we expect women to be experts in choosing shoes. But do you know that for most women, choosing the right shoes is not always an easy task? The fact that there are so many choices to choose from doesn't make it any easier.

If you are a woman who is currently facing such a dilemma, here are some suggestions for you.

First of all, don't always go for the latest and most fashionable design. Cost aside, they may not necessarily look good on you. Every woman is different. Shoes that look good on Susan may not necessary be suitable for you.

Also, comfort should be the number one consideration when it comes to choosing your footwear. The wrong choice can result in discomfort or even injuries to the ankle.

It is not always easy to make a decision on colour. If you are not sure which colour to choose, you can always go with black. Black colour shoes are suitable for both formal and informal events.

You should also take your height and the length of your legs into consideration when selecting a pair of shoes. For example, high heels shoes can help to make the legs looking longer. This is perfect for women with shorter legs. On the other hand, women who are already tall should probably avoid shoes with high heels.

Seasonal changes can also be an important consideration before buying your footwear. This is especially true if you are living in countries with four seasons such as Europe or the United States. You will probably need at least 4 pairs, one for each season.

One question some women may have is 'where to buy the best shoes'. Well, this is probably the last thing you need to worry about. Nowadays, it is actually possible to buy shoes online. With so many websites that are selling shoes online, there is a large variety of shoes for you to choose from. You will also be able to find attractive deals and even discount if you spend more time to do your research online.

Buying shoes online is extremely convenient. Make sure you choose a pair of shoes that match your maxi skirt perfectly.

Healthy Eating Does Matter to Ovarian Cyst Sufferers

Everything in your body is reacting to your eating habits. Everything. You know you get low on energy at times, but did you know that poor eating habits can contribute to the formation of ovarian cysts?Your body is fighting itself to get a share of the meager nutrition you are putting in it if you are one with poor eating habits.

Everyone knows healthy eating is important, but many people think they just haven't time to worry about it, or they think they will start tomorrow. Temptation is everywhere. Candy jars on desks at work, Fast food places just down the street, and television. Ever notice how many tempting food ads come on at dinner time, and during the kids programs Saturday morning.

It takes a strong commitment to stick to healthy eating and make the right food choices, but the commitment is well worth the effort. You will be giving yourself a better chance of not developing ovarian cysts. And, if you have them you will be taking a big step to reducing them. You will be creating a positive environment for your fragile creative organs.

Fortunately, in recent years, more people have become interested in eating right, in eating healthy. They appreciate the connection between the food that is eaten and the overall state of their health. Both men and women. Are you one of them?

Eating well is not the sacrifice many people think it is. Once you break your addiction to unhealthy food it will be much easier. You will get so your body craves healthy, wholesome food, like fruits and vegetables, just like you used to crave sweets, and these cravings are for a good reason. Eating healthy is one of the best things you can do to improve your overall health.

Feeding your body healthy food helps keep your weight down and your energy levels up, even when you do not have time to exercise, because your body is receiving the nutrients it needs to function.

When you feed your body healthy food it gets what it needs, so there is no reason it will want all the stuff it should not have.

Not only will you feel better everyday when you eat healthy, you will create a healthier life overall. A body that is less prone to catching colds, or developing ovarian cysts. You may doubt this, but it is a part of the whole picture.

You will have the energy you need to enjoy being active and you will be able to focus on joyful things in life, instead of spending your time fighting stress and disease. A commitment to eating healthy is a commitment to improving your life. Give your body what it needs and let all your organs do their job. Far less weird things will happen, such as a cyst on an ovary, or anywhere else.

It only takes 21 days to break a habit. Give it a try. I guarantee you will feel much better.

Jessa has much more information about Natural Cures for Ovarian Cysts on her website. Get Ovarian Cyst Relief. As well as a review of Laura Hennings well known book about this topic.

Make Peace With Your Mum

They say a picture speaks a thousand words but sometimes photos lie. They can tell the truth for one person but the other person may be hiding unresolved emotions.

In a photo of me and my mum in 2005 that is the way it was for me. I had unresolved anger.

My 90 year old mum has since passed away. This is my legacy from her and a plea to you.

Just after the photo was taken in 2005, a friend and his sister visited me. I was overwhelmed by the anger she felt that her long-deceased mum had never appreciated her and her talents. It was still consuming her. On that day I thought that I did not want to be angry at my mum after she dies. This started a journey of which I will share a little with you.

No More Zena, Warrior Princess

I have always been the one my mum turned to, to solve her problems. My dad died 50 years ago. Eldest child! Only daughter! Cultural expectations of women! So Zena, Warrior Princess, champion of the world's downtrodden and my alter ego was born. Over time at the first few words my mum would mention of her problems, I would drown out the rest of her words and start mentally solving them my way. It got so that in her later years, I dreaded visiting her in the nursing home. Oh no! what is going to be wrong today? would be my over-riding thought.

A lovely lady showed me how to look at it differently. Maybe mum had solved her own problems and was only giving me her weekly news report. Oh! I was assuming, not listening to all she said. Zena laid down her sword and stopped saving mum and the world. Life became more peaceful as I listened to every word and only stepped in when asked.

They Are Only Words

I will admit to being super-sensitive. I hated mum asking me Why are you so happy? I felt she did not like me as the optimist I am. I also felt that I was not allowed to be happy if she was not happy also. What stories we weave around other people's words.

The same lovely lady asked me to consider that this question was habit, maybe a family phrase from mum's younger days. They were about her life experiences and not a criticism of me. Oh! I did not have to change me to please my mum. When I changed my reaction to that question, I never heard my mum speak those words again. They had taught me the lesson I needed to learn and they left.

Love and Let Love

Like my friend's sister, I longed for my mum's appreciation and thanks. I wanted words of appreciation. I never heard them.

I had read a book on how introverts and extroverts act and think differently. It was a talk by a speaker, Leo Petrik, on this topic that triggered the 'Aha' moment. Some lessons take longer than others to absorb.

My mum was an introvert and spoken words of praise were not her natural way. She did appreciate and love me - her way not my way. I suddenly realised that the care she took when choosing cards for those who meant the most to her was her way of saying I love and appreciate you. I had read her cards to me before. This time I re-read them with love and new eyes.

My mum stayed true to herself. I had changed and become wiser. Our last years together were spent joyously.

My mum died peacefully over a year ago. I had no tears of anger or regret. There was just loving memories and peace.

Some family traumas are harder to reconcile and need more professional help than I can give. If your relationship with you mum or anyone is about everyday challenges, then I leave you my mum's legacy in this article.

My anger has gone and I can now look at our photo with love. It sits where I can see it every day.

How to Make Her Day Special - Tiaras From Dressup Days to the Real Wedding

Little girls love tiaras. Your little girl probably played princess, or wedding, or maybe Miss America pageant. Maybe she's still in the midst of the days of crowns and rhinestones and the fancy dress-up pageant. There's just something about rhinestone tiaras that makes a little girl feel beautiful. When she gets older, she may not play princess or wedding anymore, but it's still fun to take a break from real life and let your (not-so) little girl feel like a princess again. Here's how you can use rhinestone, crystal, or pageant tiaras to help her feel special, and maybe even a little spoiled, no matter what age your princess is.

Royal Crowns for the Little Ones:

If you have a young daughter with princess-mania, you may need to give into the rhinestone tiaras for a while. Donning tiaras at playtime doesn't mean she isn't learning about soccer and science, so as long as her activities are balanced, don't feel guilty indulging the rhinestone crowns and tiara madness a little. You may want to look for tiaras for sale - whether your budget is of the dollar store tiara variety or something a little more authentic (rhinestone, crystal - just make that tiara sparkle!), giving her a plastic or rhinestone tiara of her own will be a memorable gift. Tell her she's princess for the day, then spend some quality time playing pretend with her and the new rhinestone tiara - set up a pretend wedding, or provide enough crowns to assemble a small royal court for the afternoon.

Crystal Tiaras for the Teenage Pageant or Prom:

Most teenage girls, even the non-beauty pageant sets, attend one or more formal events during their high school years. Though the crowns and tiaras at home have likely been put away for a while, letting her wear a tiara (maybe more crystal than rhinestone this time) to a special event will make her feel as special as that last pretend pageant in the living room.

A rhinestone or crystal gift from dad can be especially meaningful at this age and will make her evening memorable. If your daughter will celebrate a quinceanera, make her special day extra glamorous with a rhinestone or crystal tiara. If buying a crystal tiara for sale is out of the budget, consider borrowing or renting a tiara for the day. You can find rhinestone or crystal tiaras by looking for pageant or wedding tiaras online.

Bridal Tiaras for the Wedding Day:

A wedding is perhaps the most obvious use of crystal tiaras. A crystal bridal tiara can be a wedding gift from a father or fiancee and often a wedding tiara is more memorable than a crystal necklace. The wedding day is one for a crystal tiara. Again, look for wedding tiaras online or ask your wedding planner or wedding dress supplier for recommendations. Bridal jewelery, bridal bouquet, and wedding decorations can coordinate with a tiara, too. When she looks back at her wedding day, and thinks of the crystal tiara, she'll remember how someone thought of her as a bridal princess. Soon it will be her turn to provide rhinestone tiaras for her little ones!

How Do Women Avoid Breaking Down In Front Of Others?

You've all done it at some point in your life. Perhaps it was that comment made by a superior at work, or at the board meeting; or perhaps it was just your being too tired or ragged to have control over holding back those tears. It was your worst moment in your life, including your cracking voice; and the more you tried to stop, the worst it got.

As a woman you are an emotional breed that embodies the extremes of caring and crying at any time of the day. However, at work you try to be professional and to not only fit in with the executive males; but also, impress your clients or customers. You are the one that wants to make change, break the glass ceiling, and achieve the respect of your business partners. Indeed, as a bright woman, you absolutely know how to increase profits and streamline systems.

However, you don't know how to control your emotional "mistiming." As a Speech and Drama Coach, I am often asked "How can I control my voice when my emotion takes over?" So, here are three key strategies that have worked for my clients to allow you to be master of your emotional voices, so you will not break down at the wrong time.

Key #1 Consciously Breathe:

Taking deep breaths will calm you immediately, if you breathe with the diaphragm. The diaphragm is just below the rib cage and you can feel its presence if you place your hand on your sides, or lower back, or stomach areas. It is not belly breathing; but encompasses your entire rotund lower cavity as it inflates like a balloon when you take in a breath. As you speak it is pushing the air out, or letting the air out of the balloon, expelled through your mouth.

Why is it important to use this natural breathing process that you did as a baby; but for many of you have lost this technique? It's because any shallow breathing focussed solely in the upper chest and shoulder or neck area is less powerful. Shallow or clavicle breathing increases when we are stressed and escalates to produce panic attacks. The more you breathe incorrectly and quickly; the more anxious you become.

Having control of your breathing is accomplished by practising diaphragmatic exercises, after you have relaxed your mind and body tension. One example is to lie on the floor with your hand or book on your upper stomach, breathe in for a count of three so the book rises; hold your breath for a count of three; then slowly let your breath out for a count of four or five. Repeat this exercise a few times using your mind to focus and relax yourself as you do it. Now, the technique is to transfer this breathing style while you are standing, perhaps at work in a vulnerable situation. Set your mind to immediately take three deep diaphragmatic breaths. You will experience sudden calmness and patience. You will be in control.

Key #2 Focus Your Tone:

When you are tense or anxious, your voice pitch rises to make you sound nervous or on edge. You can control lowering your pitch level so your tone does not sound timid, weak, or fearful by following your three deep breaths with a definite pause. Then tell your inner voice or mind the message, for example, to: "lower my tone as if I'm an executive in charge politely giving directions to some stranger to the front door." This puts you in charge of sounding calm and authoritative to the other person without falling apart. The trick is to keep your mind focussed on the outcome of your message and not on how you feel at that moment. Later, when you have left the situation behind you, you can let it all out to your compassionate listener at home. Practise this with a partner in a role-playing situation of arguing your point of view on some topic. Then you will be ready to implement your new strategy when it suddenly jumps at you.

Key #3 Slow Your Pace:

Your immediate reaction in confrontational situations is to get your word in there at all costs. This also leads to speaking too quickly, along with your pitch rising, and results in your efforts being weakened. The strategy here is to follow up your lower tone of voice by deliberately slowing your speech. Initially you may think you speak too slowly, but with practise you will find what speed is just right for you, so your feelings are not creeping into your conversation. This is a great tactic to give the impression that you are an expert deeply considering what has been said; so, that your next words are emotionally free, and handled by you to leave the situation without crying.

These three strategies work together as a team and will support your skill of overpowering your emotional side that makes you look vulnerable. Crying and caring are emotions that you need as a way to release your fears, sadness, and tension; or to show compassion. It is this quality as a woman that makes you a better leader and person. By having the control on your breathing, tone of your voice, and pace of delivery you will not break down suddenly; but you will show confidence and feel confident. Your voice is an amazing tool to leverage and empower your strengths and emotions. Use your voice to avoid breaking down unnecessarily.

How to Use Orange, Purple and Green to Strengthen Your Words, Actions and Natural Colouring

The world would be a boring place without colour. Most of us are visual and we instantly judge people and places through the colours we see on. Our language is full of colour words which we use to vividly describe our feelings on everything that is happening in our lives.

Colour can invoke feelings of happiness like the colours of a festival; prejudice like the different skin colour of someone we meet or daydreaming like the colours of a favourite holiday place.

Green, orange and purple are called secondary colours. They are the colours made up from two primary colours either side of them. Red and yellow create orange, red and blue create purple and blue and yellow create green.

Every colour has both positive and negative emotions and perceptions attached to it.

Here is my short guide to help you use the western world's view of secondary colours to strengthen your words, actions and natural colouring.

Orange: Love It or Hate It

As a mixture of red and yellow, orange is definitely a warm colour. Those with cool tones in their face and hair rarely touch it. Those with brown, olive or red tones love it.

Orange is one of the Feng Shui fire colours and is used to strengthen concentration. In restaurants, it is used to make you hungry and sociable and so spend more money. Orange once meant cheap in business but now it is a colour for the 21st century as it relates to emotions and connections between people.

Extroverts love the brighter and deeper shades of orange. Quieter Extroverts lean towards peach and apricot tones. Introverts rarely wear the colour. If orange suits you and you want to make an impact, wear both orange and purple or orange and aqua blue.

Wearing orange or eating orange food acts like a natural antidepressant. Orange renews your interest in life and lifts your spirits. Use it to re-commit and to get up and go again.

Purple: Power and Royalty

Once kept only for royalty because it was a hard colour to make, purple still exudes an image of being special. It is made up of red and blue - a warm and cool mixture that suits everyone.

Purple is regarded as a feminine power colour as the blue makes the red less intimidating and together they project an image of serene confidence. Purple is power through consultation. Many people who work in the personal development or natural therapies industries use or wear purple because of the spiritual and the creative aspects of the colour. Purple represents one of the higher level chakras in the body.

Go for mulberry or cerise which are red-purple colours if you have warmer skin tones and go for royal purple which is a blue-purple if you have a cooler skin tone. Wear purple with fuchsia pink for a dramatic, extrovert effect or try lilac and soft turquoise for a soft, gentle, introvert effect.

Green: A Colour of Mixed Emotions

We eat green foods for health yet avoid those foods that have gone mouldy green. We love our earth looking green yet run for cover when the sky has the green tinges of an approaching hailstorm. Green is the colour of luck and especially the luck of the Irish. Green also is associated with wealth and many people carry their money in a green purse or wallet to attract more money into their lives. On the negative side, green is the colour of jealousy and envy.

Yellow and blue make green - so there is a shade of green to suit every person whether it is lime green for Springs, forest green for Winters or olive green for Autumns to name a few. Think about what feelings and energy you want to convey and then choose a green shade that is appropriate for that message and your colouring.

Go now and play with orange, purple and green. Look, think and feel how you can add these colours so that your looks, your words and your actions all speak the same language.

How to Look Younger

The search for eternal youth is a never ending quest. This is also why almost every 'revolutionary' product in the market that promises youthful appearance is lapped up eagerly by people. In the area of skin aging, wrinkles are the biggest enemy of a radiant, youthful appearance. When the collagen levels of the skin decrease with age or due to sun exposure, the skin loses its elasticity which results in wrinkles or premature aging. Even though home remedies such as the use of milk, honey, egg whites and honey may result in the skin looking smooth and wrinkle free temporarily, these home remedies fail to provide a long-lasting solution to wrinkles.

In several cases, non surgical or minimally invasive methods of removing wrinkles may provide very good results. One of the most common, and widely popular, methods of removing wrinkles is Botox. Botox injections are usually administered to the forehead or around the eye area and help to freeze the muscles, thus reducing wrinkles. The injections have to be repeated after every few months and are not known to cause any side effects.

The other popular and non invasive method of reducing wrinkles is the use of dermal fillers. In this treatment, dermal fillers such as Juvederm, Restylane and Thermage are injected in the skin to augment the skin tissues in the wrinkle prone areas. So, they can be used to remove fine lines or wrinkles around eyes, mouth, forehead and chin. The results of dermal fillers last longer than botox injections. Since these dermal fillers are natural components of the skin, they cause no side effects.

Laser treatments, chemical peels and Threadlifts are the other popular methods that work wonders for wrinkle removal. Threadlifts involve the use of thin threads or sutures that are placed under the skin and tightened over a period of time to lift and pull the skin to give a smooth, wrinkle free appearance. Threadlifts are performed with the use of local anesthesia. Laser treatments involve the use of laser beams that penetrate the skin and remove the damaged skin cells and facilitate the replacement of the old skin with fresh skin. Chemical peels work on the same principle. They are applied on the skin to remove the old, damaged skin so that natural, fresh skin can take its place. The peels remove the outer layer of the skin and the healing process takes a few days.

However, for people who have deep wrinkles that do not respond to home remedies or non-surgical methods of removing wrinkles, the best options are the surgical means, or face lifts. Face lifts are performed under anesthesia and require admission to the hospital. The procedure provides long-lasting results. Under this surgical procedure, the sagging skin of the face or neck is removed, the facial muscles are tightened and the face contour is improved. Surgery may also be performed to lift the brow, sagging eyebrows and droopy eyelids.

As a candidate for any of the wrinkle removing procedures mentioned above, it is necessary to be introspective of one's own aesthetic goals. Sometimes, it may be possible to reach the goal with a less invasive procedure, while at other times one may need to combine face lift surgery with a neck lift or a brow lift to achieve the 'perfect' look.

How to Reintroduce Yourself to Yourself

How would you introduce yourself to someone you just met for the first time? Would you say?

"Please allow me to introduce my friend, Sally. You know, Sally is quite a fascinating woman - you see, she's always taking such good care of herself, she always makes herself a priority, always going beyond her comfort zone. She works full time, manages her home, takes care of her children and parents, eats so healthily, exercises regularly, travels to new and exciting places, attends weekly yoga classes and still manages to find time to meet up with her friends. My goodness, I have to admit, I'm a little envious of her and all that she does."

Probably not, right?

Is it be more like? "Here's my boring, overwhelmed, tired friend, Sally who never gets to do anything for herself, blah, blah, blah..."

Here are a few re-introductory questions you should be asking yourself, as well as some suggestions:

Take yourself out on a hot date - where would you go? What would you like to do?
Write down the things you enjoy -- things that matter to you.
Observe your limiting beliefs, fears. Are they yours or someone else's that have become a part of you - maybe a parent, an employer - ok, we absolutely have to get rid of these OLD, worn-out beliefs and fears.
Be honest with yourself - is there something about you that needs to change in order to leave healthier?
What stops you? What starts you?
What challenges you? What keeps you stuck?
Observe your dreams.
What advice would you give a friend who is stuck at a crossroads? Follow that same advice.
Where are you spiritually? Is it time for a faith visit?
What are your successes and how can you celebrate them?
If you were a superhero, what are your powers? What is your name
Can I do this alone?
Am I having fun yet?
How can today be different?
Next year, I want to...

Bonus questions:

What are you fears, doubts, limitations?

You need to accept your fears - don't get rid of them, but yet face them, get to know them, thank them and then let them go?

Where is your faith (in yourself)?

How can you embrace your faith and release your fears? God only makes perfection.

You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. What you'll discover will be wonderful. What you'll discover is yourself. ~Alan Alda

Medium-Rise Jeans - What Was I Thinking!

I am in the change room of the jeans shop. They look good these medium-rise jeans. They are three-quarter length and give my legs a slim shape. As I am 150 cm or 5 foot tall, I can wear them as full-length jeans. Fantastic - I do not have to take them up. There is only a small muffin shape at my hips. No problem - my tops will cover that. The jeans do not hide all my vertical caesarian scar but my tops should easily cover that challenge. Price is right. I bought two pairs. Feeling pleased with myself as they are just perfect for the holiday we planned.

Thought I was on to a winner here - something trendy I could share with my clients.

Alas! What was I thinking!

Now the reality when my vanity lost the fight.

I forgot. Denim gets softer and looser with use and wear. The medium-rise jeans slip down at the front but not at the back. Why do they stay firm over my bottom but not over my tummy? As the jeans fall down in the front, my tops do not cover the gap and my scar shows. I am constantly pulling up the jeans and pulling down my tops. I am waiting for my husband to ask - why are you always hitching up those jeans? - or maybe something worse.

I also forgot that the smooth fitting tops I wear over my jeans ride up as I walk. So now there is even more tummy and scar exposed every time I move. I need a belt.

These medium-rise jeans that fit snugly over my bottom and back when standing, gape at the back when I sit down. It is okay if the back of the chair is covered but not good if it is not. Suddenly my tops do not cover this bare skin at the back. I bought these jeans for a holiday in a cold climate. I am getting colder that I thought in unexpected body parts. One good point - I am not exposing my g-string because I do not wear one. Well only on special occasions which I will not explain here.

Lastly, there was my pride in my tiny muffin top. That has now gone. Standing in the change room, I forgot that life involves a lot of sitting down. Where did that new muffin top come from? Every time I sit down, I see and feel not a tiny but a big muffin top. Oops! Vanity has disappeared. Meanwhile, every time I sit down, the denim stretches and the jeans fall down even more when I stand up. I am doing Groundhog Day with the same problems over and over again.

What was I thinking when I bought those medium-rise jeans!

Okay. I still love the jeans. Maybe I will buy a belt but I am not sure that will work. What if I buy some men's braces to hold them up? No! Individuality is one thing. Looking just plain silly is another.

The things I do to teach others.

My modern dressing tip for women over 40 - If there is a seat or bench in the change room, use it to test out any hipster clothes before you buy.

You have been warned.
